Renovation of a vacant property located in Mont Kiara. Since the previous tenant was a Western-style restaurant, we changed the image to a Japanese restaurant and decorated it with murals and wooden menu boards. The kitchen space required equipment changes, so we renovated it with ease of operation as the top priority.
The name of this restaurant, which serves Malay Nusantara cuisine, is derived from the traditional Malaysian game “Cengka.”
The color scheme evokes old Malaysia, and the furniture is made of rattan, creating a space where you can enjoy the cuisine with a sense of stepping back in time.
We undertook the design and construction of office space within Exchange 106, a 492-meter-high skyscraper that serves as the symbol of Kuala Lumpur's new international financial district, T R X. Considering that the office would receive many visitors, we planned the space with existing facilities in mind.
